Operating across multiple client segments — from startups to enterprise brands — the business sits at the intersection of technology delivery and operational complexity. From inception, the team worked with Brego to build the finance function alongside the business — not as an afterthought, but as a core operating layer.
02 The Problem
Scaling Operations Without Financial Structure
At an early stage, financial systems were not standardised. Accounting existed, but without a clear structure: No defined chart of accounts; No consistent categorisation of revenue streams; No structured way to track expenses across functions; No reliable reporting framework. As the business expanded — adding new services like 3D rendering and working across different client types — this lack of structure became more visible. Different revenue streams and cost heads were being recorded, but not in a way that allowed: Clear profitability tracking Cash flow visibility Decision-making based on financial data At the same time, decisions were largely reactive — driven by operational needs rather than forward-looking financial clarity. The challenge wasn’t just maintaining accounts. It was building a system that could support a multi-service, evolving business.
03 The Solution
Building A Financial Operating System
1. Structured Chart of Accounts & MIS Build
Rebuilt the accounting foundation by defining a structured chart of accounts aligned to how the business actually operates. Earlier: Revenue and expenses were recorded without clear segmentation. No distinction between different types of income or cost buckets. Limited ability to generate meaningful reports. Post-structuring: Revenue classified into export sales, domestic sales, and non-recurring/extraordinary income. Expense heads clearly defined across operating expenses, office costs, and professional/legal charges. Financial data mapped in a way that directly feeds into reporting. Alongside this, a structured MIS was built covering: P&L components, Expense categorisation, Cash flow summaries (including creditors and debtors). This created a consistent financial language across the business — making reporting usable and insightful.
2. End-to-End Accounting & Compliance System
Built a managed system covering: Accounting and bookkeeping, GST filings and statutory compliance, HR-linked financial inputs. This ensured all financial activity was captured, tracked, and reported in a structured manner — reducing dependency on fragmented processes.
3. Startup India Tax Exemption Structuring
Led the process of securing Startup India tax exemption — enabling: More efficient tax positioning, Better long-term financial planning, Improved capital retention during growth stages.
4. Monthly MIS for Founder-Level Decision Making
Introduced a monthly reporting system delivered at the start of each month — giving founder visibility into: Cash flow position, Payables and receivables, Expense trends, Overall financial health. This shifted finance from record-keeping to decision support.
04 The Results
A Financial System That Enables Decision-Making
What began as a basic setup evolved into a structured financial control system embedded into how the business operates.
1. Structured Financial Visibility
With a defined chart of accounts and MIS in place, the business now has a clear view of: Revenue streams (domestic vs export), Cost structures, Cash flow movement.
2. End-to-End Compliance Stability
Accounting, GST, and related workflows now run within a defined system — improving consistency and reducing operational gaps.
3. Improved Tax Efficiency Structure

4. Finance Embedded in Decision-Making
Monthly MIS reports now directly inform: Hiring decisions, Expense planning, Service expansion. Finance is no longer retrospective — it’s part of how the business is run.
